A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

From what I can see, you’ve had some happy hunting! A true definition of Carpe Diem!

This was the view from my daughter’s condo…she sold it 2 yrs ago, but with little time to catch that sunset, I drove there knowing I would get something spectacular.

haha…nice to know where to drive to get a great sunset! I’d have to drive quite a ways I think…mountains everywhere here block the real sunsets!

We are lucky to be close to the water but on foot it would have taken me a few hours.

Ah! interesting that…once the ferry boats start running again, it might be nice to take a trip down the lake at sunset!

I love any photos you submit here…but that ferry ride will be great to look forward. Are you on an island?

Nope…under a mountain 😉 Actually on Lake Garda in the warmer months there’s a ferry service that runs from Riva del Garda down to the south (Veneto and Lombardia)…here this is easier: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Garda The ferries stop running in October or November and start running again…well in March!!!
