A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

Who is Kiki? Butterball turkey, my grandmother’s recipe for stuffing, candied yams..and I may try sweet potato pie if Im not too tired. Now it is when preparing the stuffing that my Bette (bff (best feline friend) will be meowing to have a taste since the turkey fixins are in it and she goes wild when I’m cooking it.

Ah cool….I bought a huge apple pie when I went to Plattsburgh last week…my daughter said they are to die for…so why try to compete with those amazing bakers…costs more to bake it.

That sounds good–I don’t bake apple pies, though I like to make Apple Crisp, quick and easy–and healthy with the oatmeal in it!

Hve not baked apple crisp since the kids grew up. If I bake it now, I will eat the whole pan!
