howling wind —
an autumn note within
the bamboo flute (Kala Ramesh)
rustling leaves prepare to fall
whistling wind turns into shrills
trembling twigs
awaiting emptiness
their naked fate

This is an interesting and sad finish! Let me add:
first snow flakes fall
upon the waiting empty twigs
dressing them in white
in their naked purity
fragile winter beauty

merci ma chère! je joue un peu aussi 🙂
winds pick up
temperature plummets
twigs wrapped in diamonds
fragile limbs no longer sway
sparkles all the way

I, too, loved this one and was inspired by it.
“trembling twigs
awaiting emptiness
their naked fate”
Declare the state for which all
Things ultimately await
