I understand that in drought-stricken California fountains have been shut off and drained. Too bad. No refreshment.

I remember when firemen ran the water from the fire hydrant and the kids just loved that!

There is a fountain near my house which springs to life in the evenings and its utter bliss. It’s a feast to the eyes and has a cooling effect even on the mind.

It really does feel refreshing to see this, I can see that. In my hometown, there is a fountain that goes off in the evening as well…so lovely.
