    I just had some corn on the cob last night…
    That first corn of the season is so sweet.
    While I boiled mine I know you can roast the corn, after you have pulled back the husk and removed the silk. You put your spices on the cob and then put the husk back up and on the grill. Yum.

      Indeed, my son lives in the country and has been eating fresh sweet corn since end of July. At work I cook 2 in the microwave with the husk on and remove only after…it is delicious…one to two mins per cob. Btw, this photo was taken Friday at my friend’s home

        Our local volunteer fire companies sell ‘Chicken Corn Soup’ – corn from local farmers 🙂
