A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

That middle stanza is gorgeous. I read it several times. There’s a profound truth captured in your words. 🙂

Thank you, I wrote a poem on my other blog a while ago where I say I am perfect in my imperfections. I have seen it in others but that poem made me see it in myself too 🙂

You’re welcome 😀 I’m glad you saw that in yourself 😀

I have been preaching it long enough, it was time that I learned it. In French we have an expression, translated word for word: the shoemaker with worn out shoes.

I like that saying! I don’t know where or when but one of my characters is going to say it to someone! thank you! 😀 I’m glad you’re now a shoemaker who is comfortable in her shoes, be they worn or new.

Your first line drew me into the vision of the gentle snowfall. How I miss the snowfall, not the digging and driving in it.

Yes, that’s why I don’t miss my car in winter and I can rent the other seasons. I don’t worry so much now when I have to get to work.

I like the first two best too but had to fit in “lame” in the third one and that was a bit tricky.
