M is for Marigold (haibun)

Haibun, Haiku, NaPoWriMo 1 Minute

After sowing the seeds for her vegetables, she plants marigolds around her garden. The flowers outline the entire garden like frame embellishes artist’s canvas. The scent wards off unwelcome guests.
