spring draws giddiness (troibun)

As an extra to NaPoWriMo 2016, I noticed on Facebook, it is Haiku Day on the 17th day of April in this National Poetry Month.

Here is my Troibun …

Spring is definitely here!  It was the warmest it has been since last September at 20 C!!  Walking in that glowing sun even as late as 1:30, my heart felt so light!  Watching people out and about,  some  even wearing sandals and sleeveless dresses, you could not help but catch the fever of spring.

blowing hair
in the wind
wearing flip-flops

blowing hair
sunglasses kiss my face
shading my eyes

in the wind
birds coasting on the tail end
getting a free ride

wearing flip-flops
premature sundresses
giddy with life
