Sept. 16, 2016 Prompt: full moon—without the word “full”
[in haiku the word “full” is rarely used because it is understood. in other words when you see the word “moon” in haiku it means “full moon”. all other kinds of “moon” are given a specific name: new moon, super moon, three quarter moon etc.]

  3. aloha Cheryl-Lynn. i like the way you are making use of empty space so that your haiku are easily read in the haiga. your “masterpieces” is a lot of fun. i also like the use of the unusual angle in “wind at my back”

    as you see i am slowly catching up too. thank you for being patient with me. aloha.

    1. Thanks so much, Rick!! I love that you are catching up…later means I get to read lovely comments and it helps me to go back to my haiga and see if I want to keep it or edit it here and there. Someday I will try to collect enough to publish

      1. that’s an excellent observation. “now that you’ve had some time between creating the haiga and seeing it again, what would you keep and what might you consider changing?” i’m going to point toward that more often. thank you. yes too, seeing your best haiga grouped together can be impressive. very cool thought. aloha.
