amber, red and yellow leaves
juicy apples.

stands firm,
despite erratic current
rock-solid faith

untold stories
hidden behind closed doors
such a mystery

midday stroll
shadows sneak up on me
earlier each day

unconditional –
hypnotize like no human,
those emerald eyes
