Love is…

me as a child

Children are unique
in their own special way
genuine, innocent
loving, rarely doubting yours,
assuming and expectant
walking with a purpose
head up high
asking “Why?”
saturate
interpret;

adults comment
may offend,
criticize with slight
or no intent
but cause them
still
discontent
makes them question
their self worth,
turns their life
from grief to mirth
roller coaster
rides begin
games are played
don’t always win,
grieving, growing
stumbling, laughing
learning rules
avoiding fools
mentors
make them wiser
hardships
make them stronger,
perhaps
they’ll find romance,
promise and commitment
never-ending love
soul mates are for life
two turn into one,
in the end,
procreate
having children…
cycle spins again
love ensues
power fuels
everlasting love.

    1. Ah, thank you, Sreejit. It was a prompt that made me ponder …was not sure I was going to do it…then my muse tapped me on the shoulder and said, “let’s do it.” 😀

      1. I have three actually heh! Eclectic is sort of me my personality minus my pain. Initially I didn’t want to write about my health issues then I started following others who did and thought I want to connect with them and be open about my issues and maybe it will help too. So I have my chronic pain blog and also a blog on where I live. This blog has helped me get out and meet people locally and focus on doing things plus I’m sort of using it as a platform to possibly get work writing something or anything :-).

Did you see my other blogs?

Am I following you on a blog that is yours elsewhere?

      2. Yes, actually come to think of it, I did see all 3. I have there here…sort of linked Stigmahurtseveryone, then Chershares and Alecout-Ntouch (which was my first but was just for promoting services. Oh, and another one under a pseudonym so I can write poetry, stories and just have fun and be myself….a bit more than here:)
