      1. We have quite a few here on lake Garda,and Arco. They are among my most favorite trees in all their varieties!

      2. I do remember when we were choosing trees for our home years ago, they have very long travelling roots, we were concerned they would crack our foundation;(

      3. Most trees I think will do that I guess … I’ didn’t know about willows here they’ve all sorts including the round-leafed Japanese willows … they almost look bonsai!

      4. Yes, so I’ve been told, never good to put trees to close to houses..but in Europe, there isn’t really much choice, no space. On the other hand the buildings are usually at least a couple of century’s old 😉
