A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

Thanks, Karuna. It was fitting to see this at the end of my day…I had to stop and take photos all around me…the sun was still quite strong, so half the photos are toast…I was blinded by the sun…haha.

I tried to take a picture of an amazing tree today but the sunlight around it all made it look weird. I’m going to go back next week and see if I can take one at a different time of day.

I look forward to seeing it. Walking home in daylight today was a treat and tomorrow I still work early enough…noon to 8 …so I am thinking of just spending my lunch at 4ish (instead of 8ish) on a terrasse…I love my city in summer especially.

Oh thanks for letting me know. I am a bit scatterbrain today…only one hour sleep last night but believe it or not I woke up without a migraine finally after 3 days. Poke me anytime when you have a post up…I need the nudge:) Will take a gander now before turning in….

I’m so glad the migraine is gone. I hope it stays away a very long time.
Don’t worry about not seeing things right away. I love it when you “catch up”. That is how it usually works for me too.
Sweet dreams!

Thank you, I have had very lucid dreams lately and my mom visits…I wake up and hurry to get back to sleep. It is my mom’s birthday Sunday, and today the anniverary of passing her husband whom she loved the most…maybe this is a way we are connecting…I know it sounds way out there but it’s still a nice feeling. Safe travels, Karuna.
