Carpe Diem Winter Grasses

  1. It is hard to imagine that, though it has been cold, winter has not yet begun.
Especially with the grass here still green and the false warmth creating blooms for bushes and trees.

I’ve thought about putting the down cover away for a bit… but then the night gets cold.

    1. We no longer can see the grass here but piles of snow is melting with the mild temperatures. The good thing about milder temps, the snow is perfect for a snowman:)

    1. Thank you, Hamish, I’m so glad you liked them…I think the second described the image best…how that grass is crushed by heavy snow…well, here anyway, it turned to wet heavy snow.

  2. I really like the resolute quality of the line “blades braving the wind” – then, of course, the trampling snow arrives… but when it melts the grasses look so much more lush as they spring up 🙂
