Yellow flowers (Troiku/Haiga)

I love sunflowers, my nom de plume in French, Tournesol.  Here is a Troiku created by Chèvrefeuille which is a series of haiku. To learn more about this form click here.

stillness before the wake
muse speaks to me

golden halo gleams
outlines grimy lines
on my windows

morning prayer
sunflowers greet the day
I bow

Of course I love all flowers in the daisy family and buttercups.

  1. Awesome your mastering the troiku in a great way … I am glad to see that the troiku has “caught” you. This troiku is a beauty … thank you for using this troiku-way of haiku-ing

    1. Merci bien, Kristjaan, I am enjoying this…it is like processing the 3 lines of a haiku…taking apart that “moment”. I am pleased I am doing it justice.
