She walked in the nursing home looking for her mother. The nurse pointed to the old woman by the window in the rocking chair. She gasped! It was not enough dementia had robbed her of her mind…

  1. I had purchased Mom 3 or 4 new tops in October of last year. The tags were still on all but one. She always sprayed herself down with Windsong cologne. I brought the tops home as she and I wore the same size. I cannot figure out how, but those few garments have my closet smelling of Windsong. Even after several laundry cycles….. Looks like we are still paddling down the same stream.

    1. That is a lovely comment, Janice. I’m so glad you have these tops. Even sans the smell, you probably feel her presence. My mom embedded her clothes with her perfumes…no matter how often you washed them, the scent is still there. We no longer have any of those now since she had been in the nursing home for 7 years…but I get whiffs of many people wearing her cologne. My daughter and I went for a brunch Saturday and she recognized someone with “nanny’s” cologne.
