A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

I can’t come up with a proper closing here … this already sounds like a great place to stop.

The moon usually accompanies by my right side until I get to the Métro, then I see it hover over the river as the bus crosses the bridge and finally it is on my left until I get home…that photo is taken through the trees in front of my apartment building.

Great photo … I got 6 last night from my terrace using my phone. To use my camera I’d have had to put up the tripod. Anyway used one this morning on Heeding Haiku as a haiga which I transformed then into a troiku.

Cool but at least in one it looked more like Venus 🙂

That’s what one of my friends said…okay, done, I like Venus better because women are from Venus, men are from mars …lol

What a terrible book but there was perhaps one chapter worth reading, lol. I had to get it since I was doing workshops and wanted to see what pop psychology books were saying.

I’ve got it around here somewhere if I didn’t take it off to the second-hand trade off we have twice yearly … couldn’t chuck it .. don’t know why but I just can’t chuck even the worst book!

I had three book shelves of 6 shelves each of books I had to give away 5 bookshelves worth when I moved to Montreal…books are so heavy and take so many boxes. Some I regret and am looking in second hand bookstores to get but I have to think smaller now. I have downsized so many times since our divorce and when I retire I may get just a studio …so looking at lots of European magazines in decorations how they exploit every tiny corner. Already have the idea of a murphy bed …but who knows maybe I will find an ashram to live here in Canada.

Sounds magnificent … I wonder if we’ll be able to see at least a bit of all that here in Europe!

If the timing is correct, it is when I finish work and travelling on the bus and Metro…I may go up to the roof to have a look here before going home. It is clear skies so far…hope it stays that way.

We had cloudy skies … all we could see was illuminated clouds … though for a moment they did seem orangish. Hope you got to see it!

I stayed in Montreal at work to look form the roof since the complete eclipse was happening at 22:10 and I finish work at 22:00…at 22:30 I rushed home and it was cloudy BUT I stepped out at 12:30 and saw a huge glorious bright moon with a gigantic red halo:) I was able to see this lovely scene for an hour until the white clouds stole the show.

Fantastic … how I envy you! There were no cloud breaks here at all … but now the day is hot and cloudless!

Odd how the weather is around the world! It was getting quite cloudy by 1:30 am. and this morning very grey then off and on rain…it was hot and muggy today.
