A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

I’m glad you stopped to admire the site and then reported it so poetically back to us 🙂

I think partly my fear of falling, I walked so slow, I could not help but notice and late at night it is not as busy…I do enjoy the late night.

As do I. I love walking at night especially on cold, clear ones. I like the play of light.

Last night the play of lights was great with the soft rain and wet streets. In winter it’s fun walking and hearing the crunch crunch echo walking on snow…but that means it is really cold!

That’s why I walk in snow pants, warm boots and a ski jacket 🙂 I like being wind and snow proof

I gotta get good snowpants…I also have studs I put under my boots when it gets too icy.

I have to get those studs! I gave my mom a pair which she still can’t find and now I can’t find them in stores. 🙂
