A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human beingβ¦a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

I am fine so far…have not had winter in December like we usually have, so I am enjoying this weather for now but by March I have had it.

First day of spring here in Ireland is Feb 1 but it would be very optimistic to think it will actually be spring-like. Hope it warms up for us all soon! Have a nice weekend. π

Thank you, I will be happy if we get it mid March. Someday I will visit Ireland so I can see the home of my great grandfather in Ballybunion

Thanks! The image was a bright blue and I edited the hues to make it look a bit different since I use that photo so much, I love that shot as it brings back childhood memories in my grandmother and mother’s house.

As long as we get spring by March, I am happy…we’ve had snow up to mid April, so I will accept March 22nd but March 9th would be nice on my birthday π
