5/7/5

butterflies flutter
sunflowers and rainbows – just,
dreaming of summer

3/5/3

daisies slide
on golden hills – yet,
in my dreams

a lotus
swells on golden pond
heaven’s grace

I know it is overused and I am one of those that overuse it but there’s just no other word, lovely, so very lovely.

I use lovely a lot too and it is a very nice compliment, thank you, Carol! 😉

You have me dreaming of spring… Still about six weeks away for us here.
I don’t go by the groundhog seeing or not seeing his shadow. That’s a big thing here. But the two local groundhogs we have often contradict each other 🙂

Thank you for your kind words… hardly perfect – my haiku. Just reflecting on my weather.

🙂 nothing wrong with dreaming…it is the least expensive journey that I can control its duration 😉

Me too! I drove in it on Friday. I hear there’s a blizzard coming too next week, so more driving in snow might be on the horizon.

It was not too bad driving up but I only drive 90 to 100 kph…so many cars passed me and I heard there were accidents about 10 km ahead of where I turned off. In the evening it was icy in town but fine on the highway. I am not brave in a rental plus on icy roads. Driving slower does save on gas too 🙂
