winter wind whistles
frosted windows peak
lovers spooning
warmth of their flesh rises
under down filled duvet

      1. I spent time with my friend in the country and was warmed by her friendship…now I’m at my son’s house warmed by 2 adorable affectionate dogs and one cuddly cat.

  1. Beautifully written, Cheryl-Lynn. No frost here at the moment although parts of Sydney have been covered in a blanket of hail today.
We recently returned from 3 weeks holiday in Tasmania, which so amazing. I’m into photography as well as my writing and there was so much to absorb. I’ve posted quite a few photos if you’re interested.
    Hope you’re keeping well.
