A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human beingβ¦a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

Oh dear, Suzanne, my goal was to make it sad and reflective.

It is that too – I guess I am pretty ambivalent about clowns at the best of times. π

I find they are creepy with their makeup…lol; I think Stephen King’s IT ruined it for a lot of people π

wow that last haiku is stunning–when the make-up comes off, the clown is faceless. What a statement!

Thank you. I often wonder about this. I am known to publicly be smiling and cheery but I know often it is an image and only feel at ease to unmask that privately

You’re welcome π so you are yourself when you’re faceless?

I like to be cheery and social but it takes energy and I also need (balance) me time where I may be more introverted.

yes balance is key. I am learning how to balance that but it’s not easy to find that sweet spot.

I think we all face that and do our best. The weather is certainly sliding around. It was sleeting last night; tonight thunderstorms. Wild weather.
