A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

So sorry your upstairs neighbours are giving you trouble. But, as inspirations for excellent poetry — they are good. So it’s a sorry and a fantastic in one comment.

They are really lovely people but I was used to a single man who shuffled his feet when he walked upstairs. He was so quiet I slept in the living room when I had a bronchitis not to wake him up as our bedrooms were over each other. Now two families of 7 people and a child who runs around as children do…it is difficult to get used to the “booming” overhead. I am inspired to write when I am not feeling well and with each hammering sound, my migraine got worse…suffering is a great muse…lol. That’s why heartbreak is written about so much I suppose.

I suspect your right about pain being a muse. For me, at a certain point finds pain just makes me lay down; but I tell myself stories even then to try and distract myself. Well I’m glad you’ve neighbours are nice people with stomper.

Yes, before my doctor prescribed medication for migraine that soothes it a bit I would just like down and moan…crying just made it worse.

let’s hope for a summer with rain only at night so I can spend many days outside walking and biking.

I think I am going to be healthier in the process…leave on bike with my tablet and rest in a park now and then
