I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.

a promise for butterfly….sounds so tender

as the morning sun rays stretch
across the earth’s green mantle

fluttering butterfly rests,
suckling sweet nectar
as the morning sun rays stretch

on a raised patch
soaking up those golden rays
a woodchuck rests

Is it now? Since my mom passed, I am blessed with butterflies that stay near me.
