twilight’s symphony (troiku)

blistering heat
cicadas together in concert
summer music

blistering heat
welcomes nightfall – and,
disrobing

cicadas together in concert
swamped by deep throated moos
a bullfrog’s call

summer music
sudden breeze moves wind chimes
shivers down her spine

    1. Well now, we do have these critters merely 4 months in the year and scorching heat about 2 if we’re lucky. I think our winters are so long that when it gets hot we don’t appreciate it as it’s such a shock to our bodies. My trip to the Caribbean a few years back, taught me to do everything slower…That means leaving for work 30 mins earlier to walk slow and take time to actually smell the roses along the way.
