summer fun (haiku)

Inspired by Patricia Donegan’s haiku:

As rain drops diminish
I hear the tapping
of the monk’s wooden bell. © Patricia Donegan

after the downpour
swallows bathe in pools
of rainwater

Tonight
the cypress tree & I

sailboat hastens
tall white sail tautens
wind at her back

      Me too…I sure do miss sailing and August is the best time of year here, nice winds.

        I think we follow the same weather lately…and today is a scorcher with too much humidity . I am sure the ragweed is pleased and my allergies not so pleased.
