A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

A lovely warm testament to a cat! But by using the rocking chair you give a nice setting to the background also.

Thanks, Hamish, for your kind words. It is amazing how much can be captured in a moment.

Very interesting, first time I have seen how a troiku poem is written. I like it, must try writing one myself. Wouldn’t it be nice to be a cat, nice photo.
Have a great weekend.

This troiku is a lovely tribute to your sweet kitty. I do miss our Charley who would wake me by preening my hair! He slept with me when Gene was working the night shift for so many years….

I had a BIG ginger cat named Charley too in the early 70`s…I would rock him every night before going to bed. Getting pregnant was taking a bit longer than anticipated…so he was my baby:)
