even through grey skies
sun still shines brightly
above those clouds

despite life’s quagmires
moon shines down on me

never give up hope
even through thunder storms
the Great Spirit knows

  1. I love your talk of the Great Spirit. It is so important to tune into that energy in these troubled times. Your poem is very inspiring. Thanks so much for linking to On the Road.

    1. I will be writing for that prompt…I found interesting material I wanted to include but Olga’s tanka did inspire me and I want folks to know about your awe inspiring weekly prompts.

      1. How kind. I am so happy you feel that way. And I agree Olga’s tanka was really something. I am finding all the posts people are making in response to these prompts very inspiration. It blows me away really. 🙂
