season’s rest (troiku)

sunbeams
orbs floating
through the window

sunbeams
spreading wide
sunflowers

orbs floating
dancing on their path
coming from the light

through the window
Amma’s loving embrace
my soul opens

*******************

sunflowers bow
in reverence
time has come

sunflowers blow
petals dropping one by one
goodbye tears

in reverence
prostrating
amber leaves

time has come
nature’s well deserved
sleep

A troiku is a new form of haiku created by my mentor,  Chevrefeuille at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai.

  1. Born in autumn…I love autumn. Lovely photos.
Strange weather the other night… today we attempt to take the fallen tree limp out of our creek…

We all need some rest from the busy seasons. 🙂
    Hugs, Jules
