joy
felt
seeping
through my pores
kinfolk stopover
unexpected precious embrace
my lips are smiling as I Iisten to my heart sing
tap
tap
tapping
my feet to the tunes
rising my soul to paradise
such miracles can only come from the universe.
vision of grace
red leaves on branches
poised
enduring hope
grey skies return
housekeeping never done
closing season
winter’s duvet awaits

Micropoetry Month – November 5th, 2017 – Daily moments
We are asked to write a Fibonacci with as many lines as we wish following the Fibonacci sequence. I tried to keep it short (0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13) and closed with two naani poems.
It’s so wonderful how your words reflect your daily life and experiences.. there is such joy in reading them. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks, Janice. I would not find it a poem if I continued passed 13 syllables however, it would feel more like a narrative but it is interesting. The naani is a form, however, I want to learn more about, read more and master better since it is somewhat like a tanka but less complicated. And since it is a popular Indian poetry form, all the more reason to use it when I reflect on Amma 🙂
