weaving is healing (troiku)

tapestry weaving
teasing out bright colours
blending softer hues

tapestry weaving
searching for new stories
interlacing strands

teasing out bright colours
quieting the heart
muffling blaring shades

blending softer hues
weaving with compassion
mending frayed threads

  1. Two of my close friends in Missouri did weaving for several years. Looms set up in their living rooms. I still have some of the gifts of their talents.

    1. I bought a child’s loom to practice during the pandemic…I have weavng and quilting on my bucket list for retiremet…my office will be turned into a craft/guest room lol. I keep getting ideas but time jsut seems to fly by and another year has gone by. I did an art therapy class with weaving…it was really intersting and turned out beautiful…there is so much thought put into these mediums. thanks for passing by….hope you are not flooded down there…

      1. We are not flooded. Sort of bone dry here in Austin. A different story for New Orleans where Matt, my nephew, lives. His place was okay. Not sure about the two rental properties of his.
