heavy rains (kyoka)

menacing clouds burst
rampant river overflows
old dam gives in
like grandpa`s old sweater
unravels on his portly chest

Three Word Wednesday

rolling waves (kyoka)

Rolling waves
wind gusts bind the jib
stirring bellies
staring at the mocking sky
through the porthole

Prompt: Through the porthole

coming home (kyoka)

pre-dawn cloudburst
flowers hang their heavy heads
old man heaves
coming home from Hurley’s Pub
hanging low away from mum

I squealed (Kyoka)

Hot summer nights

feel a shadow overhead

bat squeals!

I duck and squeal louder

woke up the neighbourhood

sucking like vampires
blood thirsty pests
hardly felt even an itch
thanks to fleshy pink thighs.
