Dance like nobody is watching      Haibun

There is something very zen about autumn and watching the leaves flutter, dance; they look so happy, soaking up each moment in that last dance…we should all watch this with wonder and embrace that thought…living each moment to the fullest…treating each day as if it is your last and never wasting a moment looking back but embracing each moment in the present…

giggles echo
rustling in the wind
bright and cheerful
smiling at dark clouds looming
another day filled with mirth

golden leaves
swaying in the wind
their final act

golden leaves
dancing
with abandon

swaying in the wind
holding on
for dear life

their final act
gold and ambers bow
falling on their knees
