cherry blossom rain
young girls with pink umbrellas
watched by eager boys (JazzBumpa)
pacific gust lifts his cap
they smile as he runs by
girls giggling
amused with this new chase
shamed boy drops his head

Yikes — wish I’d read yours before writing mine! Well, some find the giggling embarrassing — some find it just plain weird, right? π

Oh mine is totally different, kiddo…no kissing in the horizon. The ku brought me to Stanley Park in Vancouver known for the beautiful cherry trees a gift many years ago from Japan. Our host, Kristjaan, has written during their haiku fesitival there as well.
