A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

It sure is! I thought dandelions were as special as red roses when I was a kid…it stained my hands but at least it didn’t prick me 😉

They were quite wonderful when we were children, weren’t they? There were always plenty to scoop up in a bouquet for Mom and she always smiled when she saw them. Yellow is my mother’s favorite color.

White dasies with that big fat yellow in the centre is my fav flower; perhaps I was influenced by those dandelions. I get plenty on our lawn here as the landlord cuts the grass once a month…haha…now that I write haiku, I will have plenty of opportunities to take photos:) Hope you are well and finally enjoying warmer weather.

It is definitely warmer now! I’m finally enjoying the fact that my house clings to the nighttime coolness with how warm it is outside.
