I know…I used to sail only on a 16 ft catamaran but when we didn’t see shore and the wind either picked up or died, I sure felt it took forever to get back with those little paddles we kept in our hulls. I can only imagine sailors. A friend was in the Navy and would be gone for 6 months on a submarine…I would go mad.

    1. I’m so glad you picked up on this! I can only imagine fishermen or sailors who leave for long periods of time how it must feel for them leaving so much behind but to provide for those they love.
