F is for Fed up of the Mister Winter raining on her spring!!! Rain, snow, ice pellets, sunshine and drizzle and last night she walks home with blowing snow and snow building on the ground. She’d heard of the forecast and thought little of it since she was sure the snow would melt hitting the streets of the city. Not so! Late that night, walking home from work, she cut across her short-cut to get to the Métro, avoiding her usual longer walk on the slippery streets and sidewalks. Walk was slow but arriving home, she notices someone waits with anticipation.

emerald eyes look out
snow flurries blur her vision
a loyal friend waits

I bought a brand new bike today and when we went out the store the clouds separated and there was sunshine…I am determined to start biking.

That’s awesome 🙂 I’ve thought about doing that but I have nowhere to store the bike.

In my entrance for now…I don’t want to put it in the basement locker…seeing it in the way will encourage me to bike more often 😉 But I have to return this one…I took too big.

that’s a great strategy. I can’t do that because I can’t bike to work in the morning, it’s too far and involves too many highways. I’d have to bike at night or on weekends.

I can’t bike to work either. Too long and complicated to get across the bridge. Besides I finis after 10pm. It would not be wise. Like you it would be weekends and mornings rather than evenings

If I lived on the island of Montreal, I would use it to work, we are even allowed to take the Métro with our bikes but from this side of the river I hope to explore bike paths along the water. My children were raised in a town by a river and we would bike on the canal path.
