Life offers many joys. One just has to stop and notice they are here even in the saddest times, under grey clouds and personal strife. She shuffles reflecting on her solitude wistfully aiming for the city park.

Great work there, and beautiful imagery, too. Your troiku shone with human warmth

    This is great.
It’s funny, I used the phrase, “tag, you’re it” in a poem earlier, for a prompt on a different site. I love silly coincidences like that. Happy April writing!

Absolutely, pain is a reminder and allows hindsight to reveal itself.

(smiles) when I suffer from chronic pain I sometimes (not always I still have to work on that) embrace it as it means my body can feel…has sensation.

A Troibun … what an awesome idea to use Troiku in haibun. You have invented a new use of the Troiku.

Haha, well, I was always putting (haibun) but if I am using the Troiku, it sounded better than (Tale and a Troiku). It is your invention…I just use it A LOT! 🙂

On this same day Paril 12th, 2017 this is what I wrote. Watching children here brought me joy and today in 2020, watching a couple meeting in front of my building brought me joy, in the Easter date https://cheryllynnroberts.info/2020/04/12/an-easter-date-easter-date-haibun-april-12-2020/
