J is for Joy (Troibun)

swallows chirp
telling stories

giggling children
skipping, running joyfully
tag you’re it

joy etched on lips
brings new life
spirit glows

  1. This is great.
It’s funny, I used the phrase, “tag, you’re it” in a poem earlier, for a prompt on a different site. I love silly coincidences like that. Happy April writing!
