A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

Another very nice troiku showing tenderness of nature by the experts – I’m not sure if birds are chirping about mating, though they probably are!

No they are chirping about their satisfaction after a night of mating 😉

Thank you…my sister told me the swallows at the first sign of spring were swooping on the river in droves…excited it was mating season or letting the girls know…not too sure how that works. 😉

Thanks so much, Kristjaan…I write a Troiku or Troibun any chance I can especially on April challenges with Poetry month and Blogging from A to Z. You should be proud of your creation, I am honoured to have learned from my master 😉

It’s a honour that this poetry form is so much used.

A few times recently, after completing my Troiku, I made a haiga by choosing the stellar lines of all 4 stanzas and found a new haiku that felt “just right”.
