A little bit about moi:
I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator.
I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors.
Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka.
I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other.

Autumn looks very colourful where you are.

It is!! Maybe that’s why I find November so difficult since it is so bare, colder before the snow whitens everything…days so short, Nov and Dec before snowfall are gloomy.

I can imagine. We don’t get snow here and the grey skies and bare trees of mid winter can get really depressing.

I can see that. I think it is one of the reasons I would find it difficult living in Vancouver…too much rain and grey skies even if it is much milder.

Yes, there is that…but my health would be better with a dry heat. I do love the autumn colours though.

Beautifully written Cheryl-Lynn! Summer keeps peeking back here as far as the temp. But darkness in the morning and late afternoon has set in. Know what you mean about feeling the blues….

Yep, I guess the warm weather is our consolation like last year, we had a lovely autumn wearing shoes until December which is rare here. But it is inviting more and more bugs I’ve noticed…just want one night below freezing to freeze the little buggers 😉
