I love, I am prepared – Latifa Prayer (haibun)

Loving comes so easy, she thinks of her children and grandchildren. As much as it is easy to forgive someone you love, it is not so easy to forgive oneself. That is still a work in progress. Once she has mastered forgiving herself she will be on the path of self-love. The greatest love of all is to love self as we are made in the image and likeness of Our Creator. When self-love is achieved, then, she will be prepared.

Better late than never…I don’t reread my old posts, so trying to find one of my best haiku was not an easy feat.  But I do remember enjoying writing my haiga last September during 30 Days of Haiga. Here is a haiga I chose because it is a moment I treasure, seeing butterlies and blossoms late in the season…in autumn.

The above tan renga inspired me to write just a bit more and here is a troiku I will be adding to Haiku Horizons prompt “rest”

Time is at a crunch, so I have completed several tan renga for Carpe Diem Tan Renga Challenge in one post here.

Daily Moments May 21 2016 painful preludes (Troiku)

awakening

hammers to my head

awakening
run with reckless abandon
innocent children

galloping above carelessly
but, if only –
it was outside

hammers to my head
pounding tauntingly
tools I now despise
