A little bit about moi: I am a mom, a nana, a sister, a woman, a friend, a human being…a youth counsellor, Family Life Educator. I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and volunteered in various capacities from youths to seniors. Tournesol is my nom de plume for haiku and other Japanese form poetry here at Tournesoldansunjardin https://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com I hope you enjoy reading through my daily waka. I also have another blog "Stop the Stigma" where I may stand on my soapbox now and then and hope it will become a place to drop in and share or comment on issues important to you. In that vein this could be a great way to learn from each other. http://stigmahursteveryone.wordpress.com View all posts by Tournesol

Indeed, it was so cold tonight, my face felt lie a brain freeze and I had not even eaten ice cream!

Grazie,Cara. It is so easy with the cold and dangerous streets we walk here lately.

Very nicely done. I wish the old man didn’t fall though.

Well, I tried to slip in a comical image…I struggled between stumbled and fell.

Nicely done! Great imagery — I want my scarf back, I see it tangles in the branch dancing away. https://adaspoetryalcove.wordpress.com/2015/01/13/lion-dance-shishimai/

Ouch! I felt the ice fall! Hope it is not a favorite scarf. Great duo.

I should change “fall” to “stumble”

I guess we all have that protective instinct — we laugh, but we also fear for the old guy. Though when *I* fall I know it’s pretty darn hysterical — arms flapping and weird sounds coming out of my mouth. o.O

It’s so good to know that the explanations are appreciated. I look at some of the others’ entries and think, “what does THAT mean?” and “how’d they do THAT” — because I know so little about the programs they use and the processes.
It’s also good – so I remember what works and what doesn’t! 😉
Sorry about the stumbling/fall — didn’t mean to create more work for you — !
